Client Introduction

Our sister company, Pacific Tours, is a leading destination marketing company specializing in curating immersive travel and tour experiences across Ghana. With a reputation for innovation and excellence, Pacific Tours caters to both local and international travelers and tourists, leveraging experiential tourism to boost destination awareness and customer engagement.

Brief

As part of the company’s internal development strategy, we sought to enhance the creative competencies and motivation levels of our staff while simultaneously expanding our network of brand advocates and potential clients. The goal was to create a unique engagement platform that combined internal team enrichment with external influencer outreach.

Strategy and Execution

To achieve this, staff members were integrated into Pacific Tours’ scheduled domestic group tours, which feature curated travel experiences to unique cultural, historical, and natural attractions across Ghana. These tours are often attended by key influencers and content creators, forming a valuable part of our influencer marketing strategy.

A gamified element was introduced through the Kahoot app, which allowed participants—including staff and influencers—to engage in real-time quiz sessions during the tours. These quizzes featured location-specific questions, and participants competed for rewards, making the experience both fun and educational.

This approach served a dual purpose:
1. Internal Benefit – Staff gained firsthand exposure to the tour products, deepening their understanding of client experience and enhancing their ideation capacity in internal strategy sessions.
2. External Benefit – Influencers were able to generate organic content, offer real-time feedback, and serve as referral agents, broadening the company’s reach through authentic storytelling and user-generated content.

results

– Staff Development: There has been a noticeable increase in employee engagement, idea generation, and collaborative spirit. Staff confidence, creativity, and motivation levels have all seen measurable improvement.
– Brand Advocacy: Influencers who participated in the tours have become powerful brand ambassadors, spreading positive word-of-mouth and directing new business to our services.
– Prospect Networking: These experiences have created a robust pipeline of prospective clients and partners, initiated through informal engagements during the tours.
– Digital Engagement & Retention: The use of Kahoot contributed to stronger memory retention of the experiences through interactive learning. It also supported our CRM efforts by linking tour participants to follow-up marketing and community-building activities.
